When the 2020 season is officially in full swing Ladera Little League will need your support through hands on volunteering! Volunteering at the league is a wonderful way to be more involved and get to know your fellow Ladera Little League family members.
To register for available volunteer opportunities, click here navigate to Sign Up Genius to select the best date(s) for you to fulfill your volunteer hours. Each family is responsible for completing four (4) volunteer hours per player for the season.
Available volunteer opportunities include:
- Field Maintenance
- This opportunity will require such tasks as dragging and dampening the field prior to game play, making chalk lines, base placement, ensuring the dugout is clean and placing field maintenance items back in their respective storage areas.
- Score Keeper (Minor; Major; 50/70 and Junior division games only)
- Game Announcer (Minor and Major division games only)
- Snack Bar
The list of volunteer opportunities will be updated on a monthly basis as new events are added to the League's calendar of events. Such events may include the Little League Urban Initiative Jamboree( April 17 thru 19th 2020 ), Tournament of Champions (TOC) ( June 2020), All Star Tournaments ( June thru July 2020 ), and other important events.
Please be sure to cancel if you are unable to fulfill your commitment, giving someone else the opportunity and/or make the board aware a task has not been filled.
