Ladera Little League will be following the recommendation of Little League International.  All Ladera league operations (games & practices) will be suspended until April 6th due to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Our baseball & Softball facilities (including fields & batting cages) will be fully shut down in an attempt to eliminate gatherings that would possibly allow for the spread of the virus.

While each community is being affected differently by the coronavirus, the Ladera Little League Board of Directors is in agreement with the Little League International Board of Directors, that it is in the best interest of our volunteers and participant families to exercise an abundance of caution and to delay the implementation of our Little League season.

Little League International has committed to communicating and providing best practices to work through the coronavirus pandemic.  Please look for official Little League communication via LittleLeague.org/coronavirus , and on social media (@LittleLeague).   As the situation continues to develop, Ladera Little League will do our best to continue to keep our coaches, volunteers, and families informed. 

We encourage everyone – including players, volunteers, families, and fans – to follow the best practices as outlined by the CDC, which include washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (if soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer); avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands; and avoid close contact with people who are sick.  We would also encourage you all to limit close, physical contact with others (including shaking hands).  Click here to learn more about the CDC recommendations.
