We had really great turnout for the evaluation sessions last weekend. However there are still a number of players ages 8-12 who need to be evaluated in advance of the Major and Minor division drafts.
This is the last opportunity for players to be evaluated!

Who should attend an evaluation session?
- Baseball and softball players league age 8 - 12 who are new to Ladera LL
- Players who want to change teams (re-entering the Minor or Major baseball division draft) or who are planning to move to a new spring season division (fall ball does not count). For example:
- player would like to move up from the Rookie division to the Minor division; or
- player would like to move up from the Minor division to the Major division; or
- player would like to move up from the Major division to the Junior division (Information on the Junior divisions to follow soon).
- Players in the above categories must attend an evaluation session to be eligible for the upcoming Major and Minor baseball draft.
Who does not need to attend player evaluations?
- Rookie and Tee-Ball players need NOT attend the evaluations if they plan to remain within the Rookie & Tee-Ball divisions.
- Previously drafted players returning to their spring season Minor or Major division teams do NOT need to attend evaluations.
What do families need to do to prepare for evaluations?
- Players must be registered to participate in evaluations. Registration for all divisions will close on January 28. Registrations after that date will be for the waitlist only.
- Players will need to bring their own glove, batting helmet, bat, and wear rubber baseball cleats.
- Evaluations will include throwing, fielding, catching, running, and batting.
