Advancing the Stormwater Project
The large-scale Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area – Yvonne B. Burke Sports Complex Stormwater Project is entering a new and critical phase as it moves toward completion.
This initiative is a vital effort to manage stormwater runoff in an environmentally responsible way. While the work may cause temporary adjustments to your field and parking access, these efforts are crucial for the long-term sustainability and upkeep of the entire recreation area. Please continue to observe all posted construction signs and temporary barriers to ensure the safety of players, spectators, and the work crews.
New Scoreboard for the Junior/Softball Field
In exciting news for our athletes and fans, work is currently underway for the installation of a brand-new scoreboard on the Junior/Softball field.
A modern, easy-to-read scoreboard is an essential part of the game experience, and this upgrade will greatly benefit the players and make it easier for spectators to follow the action. We anticipate this new addition will be ready soon, just in time to enhance upcoming games and tournaments.
