Little League Urban Initiative Jamboree

Over the weekend of April 25^th – 27^th, 2025, ten teams, including one of our very own Major Division White Sox, will compete to become the Urban Initiative California Baseball Jamboree Champion. The Jamboree will be hosted by Ladera Little League and California District 25.

The Jamboree will be a competitive weekend of games, special events and camaraderie. Following is a link for more information about the Little League Urban Initiative.

As event hosts, there will be many volunteer opportunities for the duration of the tournament. We need volunteers to help in the snack bar, prep the fields between games, run the scoreboard, keep the official scorebook and pitch counts. For league members who have opted to volunteer, these duties will count toward the required four volunteer hours per player. Jamboree volunteer opportunities have been loaded to the SignUp Genius!

Ladera Little League will be in the spotlight as leagues from all over Southern California participate in the tournament. Let's show them, and Little League headquarters in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, that Ladera LL still has the ability and volunteer power to handle a national event.
