The International All-Star Tournament is a double-elimination tournament, sponsored by Little League Baseball International, of all-star Baseball and Softball teams from around the world.
The International Tournament begins at the District level of play. Various leagues in CA Little League District 25 compete against each other, in different age groupings, to determine the District 25 division champions.
The winners of the District 25 All Star Tournaments then advance to the Section 4 Tournament, with a chance at further advancement, if successful. Section 4 is made up of 4 Districts, 25, 27,36 and 37. The winner of the Section 4 Tournament advances to the California State Tournament.
The winner of the State Tournament, in the 10-12 Division, moves on to the Regional Tournament. In baseball, the winner represents the Region in the Little League International World Series in Williamsport, PA,. In softball, The winner of the Western Region will advance to the International Little League Softball World Series held in Greenville, North Carolina. Only the 10-12 age group and above divisions advance beyond state level tournaments.
This year, Ladera Little League will be represented by teams in the Junior, 10-12, 9-11 and 8-10 for baseball.
